We all need some variety in life. When not working predominately on beauty brands. I do get some other interesting briefs to crack. Here’s some ideas I worked on for insurance company Direct Line, Ariel’s premium washing brand and a fun concept for a sassy Martini cocktail recipe book.
Direct Line were looking to do some activation ideas over Christmas and New Year to support their
ongoing Fixer campaign. We came up with a bunch of entertaining situations to play this out,
though they particularly loved these two.
Whilst at Saatchi & Saatchi we worked on a new campaign for Ariel's premium category platnium. The insight
was that, it is now now better to wear and wash your clothes regularly, than keep them in the wardrobe.
They will genuinely look better that way.
Our approach to it was move it on from the usual dirty laundry territory and bring to life the
enjoyment of wearing your favourite fashionable pieces.
Martini Mandate, was an independent project I worked on where I got to put my art buying skills to test. I was briefed to find a visual look and come up with one cocktail recipe design for a sassy coffee table book being commissioned for hotel.  I discovered up and coming illustrator Ndumiso Nyoni from South Africa and worked with him over email and Skype to develop this stylish visual to set the tone for additional recipes for the book. Along with getting the right artist on board I consulted for the brand and sourced suitable production and printing companies to work with.
