My outlook on life, I like to think comes from a combination of my Australian roots; an ‘up for giving it a go’ combined with the upper lip determination of making it in London - a competitive melting pot for creativity and the arts. It’s a mix of being a dreamer with a big desire to be successful and do work that’s meaningful, and creative.
My creative career path is a constant learning journey but built up of invaluable creative direction & brand experience working across large publishing companies, global advertising agencies, fashion headquarters, curating exhibitions and starting new business ventures.
Championing creativity and discovering new artists has been a consistent drive throughout my advertising career, where over the past six years I’ve curated several exhibitions to promote art within the industry, In 2010 I co-founded Higher Pitch and Art Sells exhibitions and whilst working at Saatchi & Saatchi I co-curated “There’s A Good Girl” for Viva women and Publicis Group championing women artists.
With a knack of tapping into what’s current, relevant, and needed to find the right talent to connect with to produce distinctive work for any creative project I work on - I’ve more recently taken this on further and now representing independent artists like emerging Daniel Fisher www.danielfisherartist.com. Working with Daniel from the very start of his journey has been incredibly satisfying to see his first exhibition I curated over London Fashion Week, receive such positive response from both big art and fashion folk.
I love refining and providing creative solutions that can lead to magic moments. It could be cracking a complicated brief, creating an exhibition or event or turning a dull brief into something insightful and looks striking. Please come and have a chat about collaborating with SuzieQ.
